Basic Information:

Despite the name, permanent jewelry is not a permanent or irreversible process. Permanent jewelry consists of welding a jump ring onto a tarnish resistant and water-proof chain that does not need to be removed.

The welding does not hurt in any way and the jump ring can be easily cut if the jewelry causes any discomfort or annoyance. However, most people claim that they barely notice the jewelry. Furthermore, clasps are also offered if there are any concerns about having jewelry on all the time such as sports, sensory issues, etc.

The chain we offer is high quality and will not tarnish over time or affect people with sensitive skin. Our gold chain is 14k gold fill and our silver chain is sterling silver. If for whatever reason, the chain falls off or is too tight/loose, bring it back to us and we can reapply or adjust for no additional charge :). If you are no longer in Jackson, we suggest looking for someone who does permanent jewelry in the area as they can usually adjust it for free or a small fee.

Scheduling:

Appointments for permanent jewelry are not necessary, however it is only offered on select days. For larger groups, we would appreciate a heads up as to when you would be coming in in order to properly plan and accommodate your group. Private parties are also available. **NOTE: prices will vary between $5-$10 LESS than the listed price on jewelry done on children**

Jewelry Care:

  • Rinse and dry jewelry after swimming pools and hot tubs.

  • Avoid hot springs or cover the jewelry with waterproof tape as hot springs will temporarily tarnish the chain

  • Jewelry can be cleaned with warm water, a soft toothbrush, and dish soap

  • To remove, cut jewelry at the weld spot with scissors

  • Please note that permanent jewelry is not invincible or indestructible and should be handled with care
